The programmer-analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of ITESMEDIA products. He works in a multidisciplinary team and must collaborate with various departments of the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in defining the specifications of the ITESMEDIA product suite.
• Communicate with clients to clarify their needs when required.
• Create and maintain JavaScript web applications.
• Search the best solutions for the use of digital signage concepts in software applications.
• Design and document technical specifications for new products and existing systems based on change requests or detailed business requirements.
• Write program codes and conduct structured reviews to ensure compliance and completeness.
• Update technical documentation and user manuals.
• Collaborate with the software testing team to execute test programs and develop specifications to resolve issues of all kinds.
• Produce and maintain supplementary documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure system availability for clients.
• Ensure knowledge transfer to team members.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLES AND PROFILE

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in technology.
• Ability to analyze requirements and provide a proposal before the start of development.
• Good understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Ability to create an application according to the current and future needs of the market.
• Experience with C# and JavaScript languages.
• Experience with SQL Server (creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android, macOS, iOS)
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks (scripts, proactive preventions, solution proposals).
• Ability to evaluate new technological solutions and develop an implementation plan.

• Experience in creating and consuming web services (REST).

The bilingual technical support technician will be a flexible member of the team at ITESMEDIA and will alternate between programming and technical support. In technical support, he will be the additional person responsible for the first customer contact regarding support calls as well as in the field. He will have to make sure to offer continuous follow-up with customers and partners when new requests arise and for the proper functioning of digital signage networks and interactive kiosks.

For the programming component, he will participate in the quality control tests of the ITESMEDIA suite and will be responsible for documenting and correcting any anomalies related to them. He will be the resource person when diagnosing and correcting any anomalies raised by members of the technical support team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first-class technical support to our customers, whether by phone or remote control;
• Identify and resolve technical issues in order to assure customers of the availability of the systems they use;
• Ensure customer satisfaction through rapid, complete and efficient resolution of the various problems encountered;
• Integrate the templates in the ITESLIVE editor;
• Update and produce any documentation deemed necessary.
• Complete quality control (QA) testing
• Correct issues raised during quality control or daily technical support operations

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND DESIRED PROFILE

• Diploma of college studies (DEC) or vocational studies (DEP) in information technology.
• Bilingualism (French and English) required, both oral and written.
• Very good oral and written communication. Ability to build good relationships with clients.
• Experience in customer service and the ability to provide high quality customer service.
• Knowledge of information technology.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Internet and Ms-Office.
• Knowledge of digital signage and interactive kiosks.
• Good understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
